FINGERS Brain Health Institute sees close collaborations with leading researchers and research groups, institutions and corporations as a prerequisite for its mission to promote brain health.
The Institute plans to collaborate both locally and internationally with institutions like Karolinska Institutet, Karolinska University Hospital, Royal Institute of Technology (KTH), Stockholms Sjukhem, the Finnish National Institute for Health and Welfare (THL), University of Eastern Finland, Imperial College (London) and other leading institutions in Europe, like the Alzheimer Centre in Amsterdam, the Barcelona Brain Research Center, WW-FINGERS, WHO and other important players in the brain health area.
The Institute is also planning technology collaborations with leading players within areas such as “Big Data” and software, artificial intelligence (AI) for research and decisions support, new technologies and tools for cognitive assessments and manufacturers of 3 Tesla systems for brain scanning. New technologies will facilitate the future implementation of efficient, personalized and risk-based interventions.
FINGERS Brain Health Institute wants to enter into collaborations with both academic institutions and other nonprofit organizations, as well as with commercial entities.
