Miia Kivipelto receives Research!Sweden’s
Research Award 2022

Professor Miia Kivipelto, co-founder of the FINGERS Brain Health Institute and founder of the World-Wide FINGERS network, has been given the Research!Sweden’s (Forska!Sverige) Research Award 2022.

In their motivation, Research!Sweden highlight the pioneering, global research that Miia Kivipelto is driving within the fields of prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of dementia, and the great health benefits it is enabling for populations world-wide.

Research!Sweden also point out Miia’s strong engagement and initiatives to communicate and implement the ground-breaking results of the FINGER lifestyle intervention studies to both decision-makers and the public through seminars, lectures, and international collaboration projects, for which she has been multiply recognized and awarded.

Research!Sweden’s awards ceremony will take place at an event on November 28, 2022.
