We are happy for the recently announced partnership between the Davos Alzheimer\u2019s Collaborative (DAC)<\/a>, the FINGERS Brain Health Institute (FBHI) and the World-Wide FINGERS Global Coordinating Center, furthering our joint efforts to implement multidomain strategies that reduce risks for, and slow the progression of, Alzheimer\u2019s disease.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The strategies build on the FINGER study<\/a> and World-Wide FINGERS\u2019<\/a>s ongoing research, which provide evidence that multidiscipline lifestyle interventions can prevent or delay dementia. Starting in Kenya, the partnership will work to advance prevention studies around the world, implement scientific findings into clinical practice, and build awareness among physicians and consumers on risk reduction measures.<\/p>\n

Initiated in 2021 by The World Economic Forum and The Global CEO Initiative on Alzheimer\u2019s Disease (CEOi), DAC\u2019s mission is to accelerate innovation and deliver solutions for Alzheimer\u2019s disease around the globe. DAC will offer the collected DAC\/FBHI research data on the open platform ADDI<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The World-Wide FINGERS Network, which includes 45 countries and is coordinated by the World-Wide FINGERS Global Coordinating Center, will play an important role in clinical trials, implementation, and the analysis of data.<\/p>\n
