The award was officially announced on 4 December at a Brain Health seminar organized by the Sweden-Finland Society in Stockholm, in connection with the celebration of Finland’s 108th Independence Day. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Professor Kivipelto gave a presentation about FINGER research, and moderated a panel with participation from G\u00f6ran H\u00e4gglund, Reform Society, Liselotte Jansson, Swedish Alzheimer’s Association, Harald Borgeke, BioArctic, and Patrik Karlsson, Karolinska Institutet. It was a truly inspiring evening with good discussions and insightful speeches from Olli Kantanen, Finland’s Ambassador to Sweden, and Ulla Hamilton, chair of the Sweden-Finland Society, as lovely live music. <\/p>\n
