In a new review published in Molecular Neurodegeneration, our research teams examine available evidence from studies on lifestyle-based interventions and underlying biomarkers for dementia risk reduction.

Focusing on the mechanisms of the modifiable risk factors of each FINGER lifestyle domain, and their respective relation with different types of biomarkers, the teams point at the need to refine existing intervention tools and continue developing a precision prevention approach based on individual risk profiles.
